A Security Officer is responsible for protecting the safety and security of people, property, and assets. This may include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling premises, responding to emergency situations such as fires or medical emergencies, conducting searches or investigations onsite, enforcing facility rules and regulations related to security issues, writing detailed reports of incidents that occur onsite, providing customer service support to visitors by verifying identification credentials and escorting them around the premises if necessary.
