A 911 Dispatcher is a communications worker who receives and responds to calls for assisatnce. Their role is to transmit information in order to coordinate operations or law enforcement officers for investigation and action. They are responsible for receiving and responding to all calls for police assistance, assisting officers, answering queries about rules and regulations, logging all incoming calls and emails, broadcasting orders to patrol officers, and transmiting radio and telephone messages.

The Biology Instructor teaches and prepares students for careers in health and science by offering courses in human and animal biology, as well as the life sciences. Their role is to teach assigned lectures and labs in biology and microbiology in order to meet instructional design and delivery expectations. <h2><strong>Why I Choose Teaching</strong></h2><p>I hated school with a passion. Teachers were mean to me. Then junior year of high school, I was in a class, an American history class, and the teacher of that class was also a track coach and ended up loving running and ended up starting to like school because this teacher just brought it alive and was really passionate about it. And I could tell and made me want to learn more and more. So after my junior year, instead of Ds, Cs, Ds and Fs, I was getting As and As, which was wonderful. And I never thought I'd go to college, but I ended up going to junior college to complete, continue running. And then after that, I had all these units and got transfer agreements to a university. And in that university, I ended up finding out that I loved kids and I loved teaching kids and being with kids and watching them learn and grow and just having a good laugh every day. And I just reflected back, said, you know, I'm going to make school fun and exciting for kids in a way that was not for me.</p><p><br></p><h2><strong>Early Career Tips</strong></h2><p>Make sure that you set aside money for retirement every month starting from the beginning, even if it's just a little. I know you don't make as much in the beginning as a veteran long term teacher, but it's really important to be prepared for the end of your career, even though you're just starting. Don't date anyone at work. It's the worst thing. It bites in the butt every time and from personal experience. Ask for help whenever you need it. Make sure that you get in good with your team, your grade level team, and always be nice. The custodian and the staff that work in the office, they work really hard and they pretty much run the school.</p><p><br></p><h2><strong>Teaching Requirements</strong></h2><p>You have to obviously have a bachelor's, some sorts of people now have a master's education and then you have to have a teaching credential program. Most universities have them. You have to get fingerprinted, you have to have TB tests. You have to have to have kind of a general like of children, you know, and kind of just asking for education and wanting to pass on your filters of life and how you see the world onto your own mind and what you need to be seeing.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

The Department Coordinator analyzes and coordinates daily department activities to achieve established goals. So they're relying on you to make sure that all the logistical components are taken care of.&nbsp;</p><h2><br></h2><h2>Coordinator Pros</h2><p>I think the pros are if you're somebody who really enjoys orchestrating and overseeing large projects, who likes to collaborate with a lot of different people, if you want to see the many, many different arms of an organization, if you're still kind of in that exploratory phase of your career, or you're looking to switch careers into a different industry, this is a great role to give you access into that and to be able to understand what's out there and how a lot of the pieces of the puzzle fit together for the organization or industry that you're in.&nbsp;</p><h2><br></h2><h2>Coordinator Challenges</h2><p>You might be in charge of executing on a project's success, and there's a lot of individuals that are also a part of a project's success, but you're not their direct manager. Oftentimes, they're a peer or you're even a few steps under them. So you are leading with influence oftentimes, and that can be something that requires a lot of finesse. It requires a lot of interpersonal skill development and understanding the goals and needs of others in your organization and the organization itself.</p><h2><br></h2><h2>How to Become a Senior Coordinator</h2><p>So to get into a senior coordinator role, the best thing to do is really to start out in a coordinator role. This is a great way to get exposure to the different things that a senior coordinator can do or might do. You're going to often work with other senior coordinators.</p><p><br></p><p>I would recommend absolutely finding a mentor, someone who can really sponsor your growth and is invested in your growth in the role.</p><p><br></p>

<p dir="ltr">I'm an independent contractor and I work in construction. I do both residential and commercial painting and that leads into both interior and exterior repaints and new construction. I don't have any employees, it's just me sometimes I sub out work.&nbsp;</p>

<p dir="ltr">You have to be healthy, you know, there's a lot of times when you're up on a ladder, you push yourself to your limits a lot, you can work out that there's a lot of roof work sometimes. That having a willingness to learn new things is huge if you're not learning something new every day, you're doing it wrong.&nbsp;</p>

<p dir="ltr">You really do push yourself to the limits a lot but I really like that challenge personally. That's one aspect that I really enjoy about my job is that I'm working with my hands and I'm physically pushing myself every day.&nbsp;</p>

<p dir="ltr">Sometimes my work to life balance is pretty sporadic. Most of the time there's not much life balance if you would. When you are working alone and you're on a kind of a larger project it comes time to get that done and you're going to work the weekends, you're going to work late, when you're outside, you're in the sun all day, you're going to come home tired and you're not going to want to do anything, at least for me that's that's the case.&nbsp;</p>

<p dir="ltr">Be determined, have goals and plans and work towards them every single day. Find good construction companies to get in with and they're gonna help you throughout your entire career.</p>

A Lead Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining sales records and promoting the store's products. Their responsibilities are developing time schedules, ordering required materials for the set, researching historical, architectural and cultural details and incorporating these into the set, supervising the set construction and communicating with set builders, selecting lighting, furniture, wall and floor coverings and all other props used on set, producing models for the director’s approval, implementing changes as required, providing cost estimates and negotiating with vendors to secure the best deals, inspecting stage entrances and exits to ensure the set is positioned correctly, performing quality assurance on all aspects of the set, and briefing crew and actors on set safety and how the set operates.
