Audiology Extern Job Description
Overview
An Audiology Extern provides amplification services involving hearing aid assessment testing, real ear measurements, and live speech mapping. Their role is to coordinates and interprets test results, consult with and makes recommendations on hearing disorders to physicians, and observe and participate in the administering of diagnostic audiological tests. Their responsibilities are to diagnosis audio-vestibular disorders, coordinates care with physicians and other providers, complete chart notes for each patient seen, and send a written report to the primary care physician and referring physician.
