Business Analyst Job Description
Overview
The Business Analyst conducts market analyses on the product line and the overall profitability of the business. Their role is to monitor and develop data quality metrics, and ensure that business data and reporting needs are met. Their responsibilities are providing leadership, training, coaching and guidance to junior staff, working closely with clients, technicians and managerial staff, allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency, performing user acceptance testing, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements, managing projects, developing project plans, monitoring performance, and updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
