Credit Analyst Job Description
Overview
A Credit Analyst decides the creditworthiness and risk profile of an individual by analyzing their economic data and deciding whether or not to extend them credit. Their role is to examine financial statements, review credit applications, and perform credit checks in order to perform risk assessments and structure deals. Their responsibilities are to make informed decisions, consult and negotiate with clients about financial transactions, handle multiple projects, understand business, economic and industry risk, perform financial forecasting, keep abreast of financial news and trends, practice due diligence.
