Department Head Job Description
Overview
The Department Head reviews, directs, trains, and oversees staff for an organization. Their role is to set goals, and ensure that the day-to-day operations run smoothly. Their responsibilities are establishing professional relationships with clients, staff and other stakeholders, assisting with recruitment, training and onboarding processes, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed by staff at all times, conducting research, writing up reports and presenting findings, and finding creative ways to expand the organization.
