Overview
An engineering director is a leader of an engineering department or team, and is responsible for running engineering activities and assignments that fall within an organization, department, or team. Responsibilities of an engineering director include project management, analysing engineering capability, hiring team members, people management, prepare and present budgets and plans, develop and manage product line roadmap and strategy, and communicating with senior management.
