Fire Inspector Job Description
Overview
Fire inspector co-ordinates the rescue operations to it's conclusion thereafter joining the investigation for the origin of the fire and causes leading to it. A fire inspector is responsible for ensuring compliances to building fire codes in force, fire fighting equipment and infrastructure, testing fire equipment to ensure preparedeness, identifying gaps and suggesting corrective actions, presenting fire code requirements, conducting fire drills, developing and coordinating fire prevention programs, suggesting changes to fire prevention and fighting protocols.
