Head of Communications Job Description
Overview
A Head of Communications drives communication programs to support the company’s business objectives. Their role is to oversee all communication spanning earned media, web, social, influencer relations, brand marketing, executive speakerships, events, analytics, messaging, and content production. Their responsibilities are to communicate clearly and credibly across multiple audiences, plan strategies, coordinate among internal resources and outside agencies, and work with key executives and business unit owners.
