Inside Sales Representative Job Description
Overview
A sales representative assists in developing sales strategies, establishing contact with existing customers, adding new clients and business, and identifying new sales opportunities with their client interactions focused on remote interactions like phone or internet. Primary responsibilities of inside sales representatives include cold calling, making outbound calls to interested customers, following an outlined script for marketing and advertising, facilitating the sales process, providing answers to clients (e.g. information, quotes, terms, and other bid specifications), and participating in sales meetings.
