Maintenance Specialist Job Description
Overview
A Maintenance Specialist conducts unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, adaptaion and minor construction work to ensure that properties are maintained. Their role is to perform preventative maintenance for building systems, repair facility structures, systems and components, and maintain a working knowledge of materials, systems and code requirements. Their responsibilities are to perform work both indoors and outdoors, carry out general maintenance tasks for public areas, execute skilled tasks in carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work, and operate all equipment necessary to complete any assigned tasks.
