Materials Engineer Job Description
Overview
Materials engineers design, develop and create materials used for products. They work with materials such as plastics, iron, graphite, glass, bras, nylon and other materials depending on product specifications. Material engineers are responsible for developing, modifying, testing and evaluating materials, provide technical advice on materials suitability and ensure product quality and performance.
