A Mental Health Technician tracks any behavioral changes in patients that may be of use to healthcare providers. Their role is to measure vital signs, and take samples of urine, stool or sputum as needed by the healthcare provider. Their responsibilities are to provide transport to and from treatments, bathe, dress and feed patients based on individual abilities, and ensure the comfort of patients during and between treatments.
