The Purchasing Manager creates, organizes and implements the strategies for products and services used by an organization. Their role is to develop relationships with suppliers, understand the supply needs of various teams, and supervise the purchasing team. Their responsibilities are to track and report key purposeful metrics, manage and mitigate risks, draft positive and clear documentation, and ensure cost efficient purchase of all materials and services.
