Service Manager Job Description
Overview
A Service Manager supervises and leads the service department, and provides assistance in making repairs. Their role is to monitor department issues and client complaints, create methods to lessen recurring issues, and improve service methods and customer service. Their responsibilities are maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions and laws, helping train new employees in company procedures, and keeping strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers and sales representatives.
