Behavior Technician Job Description
Overview
The Behavior Technician assists nurses, doctors and other health professionals to provide care to patients suffering from a variety of behavioral conditions. Their role is to implement treatment plans, and work one-on-one with patients at hospitals, schools, mental health facilities, or patient homes. Their responsibilities are to provide direct care to clients, collect and record data on patient behavior, collaborate, communicate and assist with the training of clients, parents and staff, provide a safe and supportive environment for patients and their family, carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties, maintain strict confidentiality, and attend training to acquire fu...
