Composite Technician Job Description
Overview
A Composite Technician produces aviation composite parts. Their role is cutting parts, assembling composite parts, operating and maintaining equipment, and checking machine output. Their responsibilities are to perform a complete inspection of procured or fabricated parts and assemblies, coordinate with engineering in the determination and development of materials, processes, specifications and related documents, assemble, pre-fit and bond a variety of composites or laminate fabrications, parts, skins and equipment, and determine the pressure and temperature for the bonding process.
