Equipment Technician Job Description
Overview
An Equipment Technician develops cost reduction initiatives through the effective utilization of materials and resources. Their role is to propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability, maintain inventory control of equipment tools and parts, and provide assistance and job training to workers. Their resposibilities are to make sure the facility is clean, safe and organized, develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid equipment failures, adhere to company policies and safety regulations, and provide assistance to assemble, test and maintain company equipment.
