Overview
A Pastor is a leader who provides direction to a religious organization. Their role is leading worship services, and overseeing the planning and implementation of religious education and programs in discipleship and ministry training. Their responsibilities are coordinating staff in the execution of the church’s purpose, defining strategic goals and vision, monitoring the spiritual pulse of the congregation through review and accountability, and ensuring staffing, facilities and programs are effectively aligned to meet strategic goals.
