Permit Technician Job Description
Overview
The Permit Technician helps customers with the permit application process for building inspections, contractor licenses, and certificates of occupancy. Their role is to process and review permits to ensure they are not missing any required information. Their responsibilities are to operate specialized and standard equipment, greet and assist city employees, officials and the public, answer phones, and forward inquiries to the appropriate party.
