The Petroleum Engineering Intern works to gain experience in petroleum engineering and the production of hydrocarbons that include crude oil or natural gas. Their role is to assist engineers, and conduct laboratory tests under the direction or supervision of a senior engineer or mentor. Their responsibilities are to support fluid handling products, prepare plans for oil fields and digging oil wells, create documentation and reports, understand and draw CAD modeling and drawings, and help develop project scope.
