Real Estate Appraiser Job Description
Overview
The Real Estate Appraiser estimates the value of a single building or piece of land. Their role is to consider the values of several properties at once and specialize in either commercial or residential property. Their responsibilities are conducting formal appraisals of real property before it is sold, insured or developed, evaluating properties to establish market values and property ratings, making on-site visits, inspecting the property and interviewing clients, examining all variables that impact the property’s present or future value, preparing reports that fully explain the assessment results, documenting procedure and backup data, and keeping abreast of all current regulations, stand...
