Room Technician Job Description
Overview
The Room Technician cleans, inspects and sets up emergency rooms and instrumentation. Their role is to repair, maintain and check equipment, identify errors or technical issues, and decide on the correct solution or approach. Their responsibilities are to measure and record patient vitals, performs EKGs, collect laboratory samples, provide wound care, assist with splints, slings, casts and crutches, and provides service and client support throughout field visits or dispatches.
