Supply Chain Manager Job Description
Overview
The Supply Chain Manager plans and implements the overall supply chain strategy. Their role is to collaborate with sales, operations and customer service teams to determine supply chain key performance indicators, and suggest solutions for process improvements. Their responsibilities are to recognize process bottlenecks and implement solutions, instruct and evaluate others, provide constructive feedback, work with finance, sales and manufacturing teams to determine the best vendors and distributors, and build and maintain good relationships with the vendors selected.
