Systems Administrator Job Description
Overview
A Systems Admin maintains computer systems for an organization. Their role is to ensure that computers in the organization's network, especially the server, run effectively and securely. Their responsibilities are configuring the networked computer system, ensuring data is stored securely and backed up daily, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking and system issues when they arise, replacing and upgrading outdated elements when necessary, monitoring system performance, researching and supporting new approaches to improve the networked computer system, providing mechanical support when requested, and documenting any processes which employees need to follow to successfully wor...
