The Accounts Payable position provides financial, administrative and clerical support to the organization. Their role is to complete payments and control expenses as well as process, verify and reconcile invoices. Their responsibilities are keeping track of all payments and expenditures, reconciling processed work by verifying entries, maintaining historical records, paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks, paying vendors by scheduling paychecks, preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports, and continuing to improve the payment process.
