A Catering Coordinator supervises food operations for special events at hotels, resorts and other establishments. Their role is to meet and greet guests, oversee food presentation, coordinate event and decor tasks, manage staff, and perform administrative duties. Their responsibilities are communicating with all guests and staff in a friendly and timely manner, organizing and coordinating the event timeline, processing and receiving food orders on time, maintaining the record of food and office supplies, liaising with vendors and external suppliers, assisting management with the food and decor budget, managing staff schedules, and managing finances.
