Facilities Manager Job Description
Overview
The Facilities Manager oversees the safety, upkeep and services of a businesses facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the business and its staff. Their role is to supervise all facilities staff and external contractors, review utility consumption and strive to minimize costs, inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations, and manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
