Flight Instructor Job Description
Overview
The Flight Instructor trains a student on every aspect of flying an aircraft. Their role is educating students, supervising training flights, measuring student proficiency, and reporting on student progress. Their responsibilities are maintaining the aircraft, developing new teaching methods, training in airplanes and helicopters, using simulators for training, and providing information on a wide range of subjects related to flying including theoretical knowledge and equipment functions.
