Technical Designer Job Description
Overview
The Technical Designer works with fashion design teams, and plays a key role in turning design ideas into finished goods. Their role is to review designs to identify any issues, and liaise with designers and manufacturers to ensure garment specifications are adjusted in order to produce a high quality and marketable product. Their responsibilities are collaborating with designers, manufacturers, vendors and clients to ensure that product specification are viable, analyzing designs and determining required resources, implementing design changes, supervising the technical and design teams, visiting manufacturing sites, establishing quality control standards, ensuring all products conform to ...
