The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales team in order to achieve maximum profit and market share. Responsibilities include setting sales goals, developing strategies to reach those goals, creating incentive programs, analyzing customer data, training and motivating staff, overseeing the development of new products or services, monitoring competition activities, attending trade shows and conferences as needed. This role also involves working closely with other departments such as marketing and finance to ensure that all aspects of the company’s strategy are aligned with its overall objectives.
