Program Director Job Description
Overview
The Program Director researches, plans, produces, and implements one or more of the organization's outreach program services. Their role is to hire, train and be a motivating mentor to staff, lead large group discussions to answer questions and remedy complaints, and create and nurture effective communications within the organization. Their responsibilities are to build a strong team through open communications, collaborate on decision-making responsibilities, initiate and set goals for the program, plan programs from start to finish, and develop and approve operations and budgets.
