Safety Manager Job Description
Overview
A Safety Manager conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Their role is to evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments to establish a culture of health and safety. Their responsibilities are to report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics, recommend solutions to problems, identify improvement opportunities or new prevention measures, investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes, inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions, and conduct training and presentations for wellness and safety concerns.
